Excellent A string, my new go to.

I am using these A strings on both of my violas. (I haven't used any steel strings on my viola in years, but my previous favorite A string, Eudoxa-Aricore, has been discontinued for viola.) On both instruments the Warchal Amber Steel is powerful yet mellow. The other strings on both violas are Pirastro Obligato. The Warchal Amber A's blend well with them on both instruments. Why not the rest of the Amber set? Although they are well-made, and durable they seem to be too light for my instruments. I wish Warchal would make a heavier version of the Amber D, G and C.

Warchal is an innovative company making very good products for a reasonable price.
