Ok string set

I decided to try these, as my favorite strings for my violin, Peter Enfelds can be expensive. I find these strings are very soft to the touch. They take longer than the PEs to settle in and I find they are getting muddier sounding with each session. These strings may be good for some violins, but for my violin, a Hiroshi Kono, the PEs work best

I really like these strings!

My violin is old and somewhat infirm, so I like lower tension strings in general. Have used Vision and Larsen Tzigane strings in the past, I tried these on my daughter's recommendation. They settled in very quickly, are very quick to respond, are even across all the strings, and have a lovely tone. The helix E does not feel unusual in any way, and sounds pretty good. Am buying another set right away.

Best strings!

Best strings for your buck out there. Strong, rich, fast response. I’ve had these strings on my violin for 4 months and they still sound great. The weird, coiled e string really doesn’t squeak (squeaked a couple times after 3 months). Sound much better than EP from Pir..... on my student’s old French violin. Too bad Warchal isn’t selling their best strings (Timbre) here.

Good match for an old Italian violin

I have been using the Warchal Amber strings for a week and have found them very rich in tone and easy to play, very similar to Peter Infeld PI. They took a few days to fully settle. The Warchal Amber E has been my standard E for a few years. Other players have been giving high compliments to the sound from my F. Ruggeri.
