Pirazzi Gold are simply the best. I keep trying other strings and am initially impressed, but I always return to these. Best combination of clarity and quality, hard to beat.

The clarity this string achieves within the set is really great as the tone is still very warm. The only downside is that the C string lacks a robust quality that I sometimes find myself looking for. Outside of this “issue” the clarity more than makes up for it. I pair the set with a strong tension Larsen A. Highly recommend trying.

I love the clarity, tone and rich depth of the Evah Pirazzi Gold Viola C string. It speaks well and blends beautifully in combination with the D and G Evah Pirazzi Gold strings. I use a Larsen A.

My stringed instrument maintenance/tune-up guy uses this Pirazzi Gold on the bottom, paired with a stark (non-Pirazzi) A string, to frame a really excellent setup on my viola. These Pirazzis (especially from Concord) are consistently of high quality and almost invariably true.
