Warchal Karneol violin Set, synthetic core

These strings are very warm sounding. They might sound dead on a weak sounding violin. My violin is loud with lots projection, so these strings give it lots of warmth. If you like strings like Infeld Reds, obligato, or Corelli Crystals, but want to avoid any playing issues or high tension, you should give these a look.

I'm a viola player who received an antique violin for the holidays. The strings that were on it were decades old and overall, it needed a lot of work. I wasn't sure I was ready to invest in expensive strings for it until I heard what it sounded like. This set of strings worked great. The instrument has a beautiful sound and these strings will do very nicely! I will probably keep them on!

I got the set, but I was surprised that the A string was buzzy. Not sure if it’s an installation issue or the string itself. The other strings in the set seem fine.

I have bought few sets of Warhal Karneol for my students, and everybody is quite happy about its sound and response. Very reliable and warm, best budget synthetic strings I know.
